5 - Year LIMITED U.S. WARRANTY - CUZZI Brand Computer Desks.
This limited warranty covers the original purchaser of a new product, branded CUZZI, used for normal commercial, personal or household use in the continental U.S.. Other brands are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Call us to inquire for other brands' warranty policies. Normal commercial use (single shift, 40 hour work week) begins from the date of original sales invoice to the original end user. Cuzzi desks are warranted by OceanPointe Distributors Corp (ODC) to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of FIVE (5) years from date of original purchase by the original purchaser. Casters (wheels) are warranted for ONE (1) year, and can be purchased after the warranty has expired. ODC will, at its option, repair or replace any product, part or component, which fails under normal use as a result of such defect, free of charge. All transportaton charges of the original defective part and/or its replacement from and to the customer are not covered. The replacement part will be shipped only to a continental U.S. address (unless previously authorized by ODC). This warranty does not cover any failure due to fire, accident, misuse, negligence, improper cleaning or handling, or as a result of normal wear and tear or other circumstances not directly attributable to manufacturing defects. Natural variations occurring in wood or other materials will not be considered defects, and ODC does not warrant the color fastness or matching of colors, grains or textures of such materials. This warranty does not apply to: modifications of the product, attachments to the product, and products not assembled, installed, used or maintained in accordance with product instructions, warnings and common usage and sense. Damage caused by the carrier and modifications to the product or other alterations are not covered by this warranty. Natural variations occurring in wood or other materials are not defects. Expressly excluded are all warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
ODC's sole obligation and the user's sole remedy under the present Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement at ODC's sole discretion and cost, of product, similar product or components, shipped to a continental U.S. address (except special cases authorized by ODC). In no event or under no circumstances will ODC, its affiliates, subsidiaries or parent companies be responsible for consequential, special or incidental damages arising out of a claim of defective product even if ODC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. ODC, at its option, and with a copy of the original sales invoice, will repair or replace warranty products with comparable product, free of charge.
